Is shaving with Ivory Soap good for your face?

My have some acne around my jaw line and basically everywhere I shave, and I think it could possibly be because of either the shaving cream or because of my razor. I'm thinking of switching to shaving with ivory soap instead of shaving cream. Anyone know what this will do?

I use Basis soap for 'sensitive skin.' I have used it for years and it works well for me. I have never had a problem with Ivory soap. No male members of my house have used it for shaving. That doesn't mean that it isn't a good product. I wish you much success. Peace!
